Many years ago Mick Cartwright, Resident of Exeter and native of Manchester, started a new Band "Tumbleweed Connection".

Playing mainly "New Country", the band toured throughout England, together with several tours of American air bases in Germany.

Following a few line-up changes, the band developed in a new direction and with additional material; Blues, Funk and Rock, under the new Name Dirty Money, settled down to real jobs and music at the weekend.

Many drummer changes later, augmented by the addition of Keyboards and harp (from time to time), Dirty Money can still be seen around and about, with a handful of regular "Special Guests" and a crew of loyal helpers.

A few years ago wanderlust again took hold and Dirty Money travelled to Kinsale in Ireland for a yearly festival…..The story so far.
